Increasing the uptake of nutrients in the soil through the use of mycorrhizae

The project will familiarize producers with mycorrhizal inoculants, their specificities and capabilities, which they will be able to produce and apply themselves at low cost.

Innovation in our project

The innovation of the Operational Plan relates mainly to the production process of the product and secondarily to improving its quality and marketing. Producers of conventional vegetables in particular are used to high inputs to ensure their production, with all the attendant environmental problems. The use of reduced inputs, combined with an increase in biological fertility is a major modification in the production method, which in the future may lead to better marketing in combination with one of the corresponding certificates that already exist, or even a mandatory future environmental footprint certificate.

From a different perspective, the produced ‘on-the-spot’ vaccine itself is a product in itself, of the biostimulants category, which will be produced by the growers themselves and the project will ensure that it is of high quality and efficacy, training and producers for its capabilities and proper application.
